Kids Crew is Hip Hop based animation cartoon television series about a group of inner city urban Multi-Racial early teen kids and their daily quest and journey to chase their hopes and dreams as the leader of the crew (Kid) is guided by a guardian angel which ONLY comes to him during a frozen in time segment, at which point Kid will receive a motivational pep-talk or advice about whatever situation he is facing, which will be played by a different animated version of a famous Hip Hop star with their real voice or an urban celebrity each episode, ultimately leading kid to make the right or wrong decision(s) which inevitably always leaves a good and valuable lesson learned. At the end of each episode the Hip Hop Artist or celebrity in their REAL LIFE Form will leave a positive message about the whole moral of the story.

Led by the Sheriff and his Deputy, along with a few do-gooders at Max’s Saloon, the townsfolk attempt to prevent the cursed Saint Mary’s from harming the stranded family. The town pastor, Father Monague, joins in and the haunted past of the town and its people is slowly revealed.

Synopsis
After a three-day affair with his mistress, Dan Forman, 50s, unsuccessful pharmaceutical rep, part-time drug dealer, sometime husband, full-time sex addict arrives home to his dying wife, Olivia. Though her cancer is in remission her body is not healing. Olivia tells Dan she knows of his indiscretions and that he’s waiting for her to die. If he gets his way he will inherit her hefty insurance policy and assets. She tells Dan she has seen their missing son in a premonition. She wants him to come home. Her ultimatum to Dan, find Daniel Junior who Dan kicked out of their home a year ago, or receive nothing.
Dan takes his dilemma to his mistress for advice. When he arrives at her place he finds her dead. She’s been tortured and murdered. Dan anonymously calls the police who track him and pin him down as a suspect. At the advice of a private detective, Dan prepares to follow a lead to Atlanta to find his son.
Dan arrives in Atlanta and his plan for a simple awkward reconnection with his son turns into a downward spiral through a world that transcends Dan’s darkest perversions. A world of pornography, S&M, and sex slaves lead by what seems to be a mythical ring leader known to all as Max, whose reputation far exceeds itself, who knows where Dan can find his son.

Following in his father’s footsteps as a filmmaker, Abdul Malik Abbott received his (film) Bachelor’s degree at the School of Visual Arts. He got his start in the biz working in the sound dept. and earned his creative reputation first as a Music Video editor editing well over 300 music videos for major labels and recording artists, then made his way up the ranks at the helm of music videos, directing all genres of music including many of rap legend Jay-Z’s first videos, including, “Ain’t No...” and “Dead Presidents”, both going to #1. Abdul also directed, co-wrote & edited the Platinum-selling, long-form music video starring Jay-Z entitled “Streets is Watching”. It earned a #1 slot in Billboard. Specializing in narrative/story-telling structures with a lot of his music videos, Abdul was hired to direct the scripted hip-hop infused gangster drama entitled “State Property” (Lionsgate) starring Beanie Sigel & Jay-Z. With it’s limited release, it had one of the highest per screen average during its initial release and went on to be one of the top-10 selling movies in home video sales. After moving to Los Angeles and joining the DGA, Abdul continued to direct music videos as well as maintaining a career as a Videographer for several TV networks as well as continuing his career as an editor.
Recently Mr. Abbott wrote, directed & edited the award-winning short film entitled “Curse of War”, and the spin off music video from the film by his band B.O.S.S entitled: “Let it all go”. Soon after, Abdul directed and edited the short, erotic, music-driven fashion film “Balance of Power”, which was awarded a “People’s Telly Award” and “Best Experimental Film” at the Los Angeles Movie Awards and Flickfair film festival. He also recently wrote & directed the dark comedy short film entitled “The Audacity” and produced and directed the dramatic short film “The Ties That Bind” for the organization Kids in the Spotlight. Abdul also recently produced and edited The AAFCA Awards and AAFCA TV Honors award shows for the African American Film Critics Association.
Abdul also spends a significant amount of time working on behalf of the DGA’s African American Steering committee, spending years as co-chair and planning an executing several events, panels and workshops for the guild.
